Don't Forget Your Vents!

Don't forget to clear the snow away from your outdoor venting! Might save you a service call. The potential for deep snow poses a slight threat to the air circulation, or breathing of your furnace. When we have deeper snow, there is always the chance that your furnace venting pipes can get clogged up. Once clogged, most furnaces will stop operating for safety reasons, such as the inability to exhaust fumes. If your furnace does not operate during heavy snow, it’s always a good idea to go outside and make sure to clear your venting pipes of snow. It could save you a few dollars on a service call.
